Caron Thinks Green:

Cabinets That Store Carbon, Reforestation, and Climate Positive NOW!

We’re proud to announce that Quebec’s Caron Industries has joined ClimatePositiveNOW.org to educate cabinet makers, designers, and consumers about materials that go beyond sustainable.

The wood components in kitchen cabinets actually store more carbon than is released in their production and use. That’s the definition of “Climate Positive!”

Caron has been manufacturing cabinet doors for over three decades, optimizing the use of responsibly sourced and harvested wood at every stage of their production process.

Since 2005, this third-generation family-run business has partnered with Tree Canada and the American Forest Foundation in an unprecedented reforesting effort, planting 115,930 trees to date, improving the already sustainable and renewable qualities of their wood-based materials.

Caron’s 85,000 sq. foot plant has a capacity of over 3,000 doors per day with quick production turnarounds, a highly skilled and dedicated staff, and a large selection of beautiful, durable, and eco-friendly wood finishes and substrates.
